Letter of Invitation for Visa Application
If you are a citizen or eligible national of a country other than the United States, please visit the
U.S. Department of State’s Destination USA site to ascertain whether you are required to obtain a visa to enter the United States. Citizens of certain countries, traveling for visitor visa purposes for 90 days or less, and who meet all the requirements, can travel to the United States for tourism or business under the
Visa Waiver Program (VWP). However, even if you can travel to the United States under the VWP, please read below regarding the new ESTA procedure.
If you determine that you do need a visa to enter the United States to attend the MVP Global Summit, please download the
MVP Global Summit Attendee Questionnaire, answer all questions, and then return the completed questionnaire to the
Summit Registration Team by e-mail or fax.
Please note that it can take several weeks to process visa letter requests. If you have any questions as to the status of your submitted request, please contact the
Summit Registration Team.
Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA)
Effective January 2009, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security implemented a new procedure called Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). ESTA is a new fully automated, electronic system for screening passengers before they begin travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). ESTA applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel to the United States, and VWP travelers are encouraged to apply for authorization as soon as they begin to plan a trip to the United States. If you are a citizen or national traveling to the Global Summit from a country that is part of the VWP, please go to
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/, follow the instructions to answer all the required questions, and submit an application for a travel authorization.
